Horizon School of Digital Technologies is a responsible and committed institution. With this in mind, we launched the very first session of our free and certifying Cloud Computing training within the Amazon re/Start program in March. As a reminder, this program, developed in partnership with Amazon Web Services, allows job seekers and/or workers with a scientific background to retrain for careers in cloud computing. Our new partner, Novation City, has also joined the program. The first session has now begun at our premises under the supervision of Prof. Sami Bhiri, our AWS Cloud Architect certified instructor, and will continue until the end of May.
To participate in this program, no prior training in technology is required. It allows candidates to acquire cloud computing skills and prepares them for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, with free access to practice exams. The training also focuses on professional skills such as communication, leadership, time management, project management, CV writing, and interview preparation. After a few weeks of the session, our learners are immersed in a pleasant atmosphere and a learning-friendly environment, thanks to the participation of a team of expert instructors. These instructors cover fundamental topics such as cloud computing or network security and lead practical workshops to deepen each candidate's knowledge in essential techniques and languages like Python, Linux, as well as soft skills. We wish each of them the best of luck in their career transition and skill enhancement journey, and we hope this first experience marks the beginning of a series of exceptional successes for every participant.
