Once the student has arrived in Tunisia, He or She will be required to apply for their residence card. They have one month from their arrival to submit their application and pay the application fees of 75 TND. 
To apply, students will have to go to the police station in their residential area and provide the following documents:

Documents required for the Residence Card

Enrollment certificate for the current academic year, provided by Horizon School of Digital Technologies.

Attendance certificate, provided by Horizon School of Digital Technologies.

Certified copy of the first two pages of a valid passport (with entry stamp).

5 passport-sized photos (4 photos for renewal).

Proof of accommodation.

Proof of money transfer (MoneyGram, Western Union, or transfer via a Tunisian bank).

Residence Card application form filled out in 2 copies, the application form is provided by the police.

Certified copy of the consular card, provided by the embassy or consulate of the student's country in Tunisia.

Payment receipt of the application fees of 75 TND made at the treasury office.

  • After 5 days from the date of the application, the police station issues a provisional residence card which allows international students to be in a legal status throughout the Tunisian territory.
  • ​The Residence Card is only issued after 2 or 3 months from the date of application. It will be valid for one year (until September 30th of the year) and can be renewed annually.
