Listening Unit

 A listening unit is made available to students in order to support them during their years of study at Horizon School of Digital Technologies. This unit provides 3 main services.

Helping Students in Academic Difficulties

The educational and academic follow-up of students who may have difficulties or who simply wish to discuss with a teacher. For example, this may involveiImplementing a personalized review methodology,setting up an improvement program for incoming students (and/or foreigners enrolling at Horizon), or providing mediation in the case of a litigation during an internship.



Listen to Students with Social Problems

Social and psychological support for students who may have problems and want to verbalize and discuss with a vigilant and benevolent person. This structure supports students whose smooth running of their daily life or their studies could be impacted. For example, it may include a first line support for uneasiness, psychological distress, depressive sentiments, anxiety. This includes support for anyone who witnessed traumatic events such as family problems, emotional breakdown, grieving the loss of a loved one. We offer counseling for students with addictions, diseases (physiological or psychological) and cases of disability. We also offer individual sessions on a voluntary basis. We direct the students towards experts and specialists (psychiatrists or relay structures) when needed.


Support Students with Administrative Difficulties

Providing information, assistance and support for students concerning various administrative and regulatory procedures necessary for their settlement in Sousse. For example, it may include search for accommodation, extension of visa and/or filing of residence permit for foreign students, opening of a bank account or subscription to health insurance.
