Security in Distributed Systems

Distributed systems are ubiquitous in our modern digital environment. Our research focuses on the development of advanced techniques to ensure the security and confidentiality of data exchanged in these distributed environments. We particularly concentrate on implementing data protection standards and regulations such as GDPR.

IoT Systems (Internet of Things)

The Internet of Things represents a revolution in how objects interact and communicate with each other. Our research aims to address the challenges related to the security, reliability, and scalability of IoT systems. We explore innovative approaches to secure IoT devices, protect sensitive data, and ensure communication privacy within these interconnected networks. We particularly focus on the geospatial domain, where data sources can include spatial sensors such as drones and satellites.

Blockchains

Blockchains have emerged as a revolutionary technology with potential applications in various fields, from finance to logistics to healthcare. Our research focuses on enhancing the security, efficiency, and scalability of blockchains. We explore innovative consensus techniques, improved privacy mechanisms, and solutions to address scaling issues to make blockchains more robust and adaptable to a wide range of applications.

Title : Management of Massive Geomatic Data in IoT Systems

The thesis focuses on the storage and processing of geospatial data. Given the volume and heterogeneity of this data, the main objective is to develop efficient processing models and implement optimized storage to accelerate information retrieval. The choice of architecture and technologies will be validated through a case study, particularly focusing on forest fire detection. This practical approach will demonstrate the effectiveness of the system in real-world situations.
